Acknowledgements
This is our 2nd Annual Interprofessional Health Showcase which transitioned to a virtual format as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent social distancing measures. Several shout-outs are in order. First, we appreciate our sponsors: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas and H-E-B. Please visit their sites and learn about the great work they do to promote community health in Texas. Second, we appreciate the efforts of faculty and staff in the College of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, Dell Medical School, and Steve Hicks School of Social Work who helped us to transition this important event online. A list of individuals who contributed as judges and abstract reviewers is below. We appreciate our students’ adaptability moving their learning experiences online and creating digital posters for this showcase that allow audiences to learn about the impactful work they are doing in health care. During these challenging times, it is even more important that we find opportunities to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our learners. Finally, I would like to thank Lauren El-Assad, CHIPE’s program manager, for making this virtual event possible.
Take care and be well,
