Community Engagement

Community Engagement

The Center for Health IPE's work aligns with UT Austin's core purpose of transforming lives for the benefit of society. We look forward to forging new partnerships with community agencies to advance collaborative health care practice and person-centered care. A few ways we promote health IPE in the community includes:
  • Trainings to help interprofessional faculty and practitioner teams to design and implement health care-focused projects
  • Continuing education for health care professionals and educators focused on opioid use disorder and harm reduction. CEUs available.
  • Providing online educational resources pertaining to health IPE
  • Promoting educational events that advance collaborative practice
  • Convening stakeholders to have productive discourse about advancing health IPE
  • Consulting with health programs on compliance with IPE-focused accreditation standards; contact us to learn more
  • Serving Texans in need of health care at a free, student-run clinic
  • Conducting health screenings to underserved Texans
