By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to: 
1) Review the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) model. 
2) Integrate screening tools into routine practice to screen adolescents for unhealthy alcohol and other drug use. 
3) Identify common core elements of brief intervention and protocols available to support delivery of adolescent SBIRT. 
4) Access free resources, including virtual patient simulations, to support training and education on adolescent SBIRT.
