Lauren El-Assad co-leads the Center for Health IPE's strategic initiatives, develops and coordinates interprofessional programs and activities, oversees its daily operations, and manages relationships and partnerships.  She has been a member of the UT community since she moved from Chicago to Austin in 2004. Ms. El-Assad earned her MSSW at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2016.
