Interprofessional collaboration in health care is increasingly recognized as important to achieving optimal clinical outcomes, but the term may be more optimistic and aspirational than realistic. Despite dramatic changes in the education of health professionals over the past two decades, challenges to effective teamwork in the health care system remain. At this year’s Ken Shine Health Lectureship, Kathleen Dracup will present strategies to overcome these challenges. Dracup is the winner of the 2020 Ken Shine Prize in Health Leadership, awarded to a person who has made significant leadership advancements in health. Her presentation is called “Interprofessional Collaboration in Practice: A Personal Journey.” Please click here to learn more and to RSVP. Lunch will be provided.
