The Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education (CHIPE) will host its 4th Annual Interprofessional Health Showcase on April 29, 2022 to celebrate students’ and residents’ contributions to advancing person-centered and/or population health through research, quality improvement, and community engagement projects.

This engaging, experiential course provides an overview of the role of the IPE faculty facilitator, plus provides opportunities for practice using a wide range of tools and techniques. Approximately 6 hrs of online pre-work must be completed at least 5 days prior to the full day virtual training, which is 4/8/22 via Zoom.

T3 ITDP is an immersive training that gives teams the tools to design and implement effective interprofessional education and collaborative practice projects at their institutions. T3 ITDP is a national training and UT Austin is one of two institutions currently offering it twice a year.

Brianna Middleton, a pre-medical, unilaterally deaf undergraduate student, will host this forum to increase awareness of these disparities and encourage hearing individuals to use this knowledge to be better allies to the Deaf and hard of hearing community.
