The Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education will host its Interprofessional Health Showcase on April 19, 2024 to celebrate students’ and residents’ contributions to advancing person-centered care and/or population health through research, quality improvement, community engagement, and health innovation projects.

The Health and Well-Being for All virtual simulation is designed for students, faculty, and practitioners from various health and health-related professions. The topic is "Vaping in Adolescents." The next simulation is on March 2, 2024 from 9am - noon.

Health IPE (HIPE) Day convenes students from 9 health programs to learn the necessary foundational knowledge to be effective on a heath care team.

The Fundamental Relationship-Centered Communication (RCC) Workshop teaches communication competencies that ensure health professionals deliver high-quality, relational care. The workshop involves skills-based exercises that offer participants the chance to integrate workshop content with individual learning goals. Expert ACH Facilitators build skill-development through active engagement.

Led by the Texas IPE Consortium, this event provides faculty with the tools and strategies they need to engage interprofessional teams of learners and maximize the effectiveness of their IPE training programs.

Students enrolled in health professions programs at UT Austin are invited to participate in this 3-hour foundational IPE experience.

This course, led by the Texas IPE Consortium, produces Master Trainers, who will be trained to go back to their respective institutions and offer TeamSTEPPS® training and certification. Approximately 6 hrs of online pre-work must be completed at least 5 days prior to the virtual training.

The Center for Health IPE is committed to changing health care culture by transforming health care teams. In service of this vision, we're excited to bring the national T3 Interprofessional Team Development Program (T3 ITDP) to UT Austin. Our next training will be held from January 9-12, 2023 via an online format. Continuing education credits for many professions are available through our partnership with the National Center for IPE.
