The Fundamental Relationship-Centered Communication (RCC) Workshop teaches communication competencies that ensure health professionals deliver high-quality, relational care. The workshop involves skills-based exercises that offer participants the chance to integrate workshop content with individual learning goals. Led by the Texas IPE Consortium, this event provides faculty with the tools and strategies they need to engage interprofessional teams of learners and maximize the effectiveness of their IPE training programs.

Students enrolled in health professions programs at UT Austin are invited to participate in this 3-hour foundational IPE experience.

This course, led by the Texas IPE Consortium, produces Master Trainers, who will be trained to go back to their respective institutions and offer TeamSTEPPS® training and certification. Approximately 6 hrs of online pre-work must be completed at least 5 days prior to the virtual training.

The Center for Health IPE is committed to changing health care culture by transforming health care teams. In service of this vision, we're excited to bring the national T3 Interprofessional Team Development Program (T3 ITDP) to UT Austin. Our next training will be held from January 9-12, 2023 via an online format. Continuing education credits for many professions are available through our partnership with the National Center for IPE. These trainings sell out, so don't delay in registering your team.

The Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education will host its 5th Annual Interprofessional Health Showcase on April 14, 2023. Students and residents whose abstracts are accepted will be invited to present their work in person. All projects must pertain to person-centered care and/or population health and fall into one of the following categories: research, quality improvement, community engagement, and health innovation projects.
