The CHIP Simulation is a virtual learning experience where advanced-level learners facilitate interprofessional teams of participants who collaborate on a 6-step improvement process focusing on community intervention to target a pervasive community health issue, in this case, adolescent vaping. The intended audience includes all learners who have an interest in health care and public health (students, residents, faculty, practitioners, staff), as well as community members.
This online simulation will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 via Zoom. Participants will be placed in interprofessional teams that are led by advanced-level students. This simulation is free to attend and coordinated in partnership with Austin Community College Health Sciences and University of Texas at Austin health professions programs. Interested participants may inquire by emailing the Center for Health IPE at healthipe@austin.utexas.edu.
