Center for Health IPE to Induct 2024 Cohort of Health IPE Fellows
AUSTIN, Texas — The Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education (IPE) will induct the 2024 cohort of Health IPE Fellows at a private ceremony and reception on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the School of Nursing. The inductees are:
- Kelvin Phan, MSEd, LAT, ATC, NASM-PES, Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Kinesiology & Health Education
- Molly Bray, PhD, Chair, Department of Nutritional Sciences
- Ashley Castleberry, PharmD, MEd, Assistant Dean for Curriculum & Assessment; Division Head & Clinical Associate Professor, Pharmacy Practice
- Morgan Stewart, PharmD, BCACP, BC-ADM, Clinical Assistant Professor, Pharmacy Practice
- Lloyd Berg, PhD, ABPP, Chief, Division of Psychology; Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences
- Tom Caven, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Medical Education
- Rajinder Koul, PhD, CCC-SLP, Chair, Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences

The invitation-only ceremony will be led by the Center for Health IPE and the Executive Steering Committee Members: John Luk, MD (Dell Medical School), Sarah Sloan, LCSW-S (Steve Hicks School of Social Work), Gayle Timmerman, PhD, RN (School of Nursing), and Veronica Young, PharmD, MPH (College of Pharmacy and Center for Health IPE).
Health IPE Fellows represent the highest level of IPE ambassadorship and promote interprofessional education and practice among health professions learners in all stages of their careers. Through their contributions to teaching, scholarship, and service, Health IPE Fellows advance an interprofessional culture of excellence at UT Austin and beyond. They will join two cohorts of Health IPE Fellows who were inducted in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
